HUMAN + AI / E-COMMERCETurning Commerce Data
into Daily Decisions
Helping e-commerce teams focus on what matters, set priorities, and take action.

THE PROJECT
Designing Human–AI Decision-Making Platform for E-commerce
Bark-AI uses AI to identify patterns across commercial data and prioritize problems and opportunities based on their significance.
The design work focused on translating these insights into a decision-making experience for e-commerce teams. Each insight is presented alongside the relevant products, KPIs, and business context, helping users understand why it matters and decide what to do next.
01 / The Challenge
Finding the
Signal in the Data
The starting point for the design process was a dense Excel document containing extensive commercial data. The challenge was to determine which signals mattered to e-commerce managers and how AI-generated findings should be structured, explained, and connected to the decisions they make each day.
Retail performance depends on multiple, interconnected variables. The experience needed to reveal meaningful patterns and predictions while giving users the context required to evaluate them through their own professional judgment.

02 / The Product Structure
From Performance
to Action
Bark-AI structures information around e-commerce decision-making, guiding users from a performance overview to identifying priorities, exploring relevant products and KPIs, and taking action.
A shared design system established reusable components, interaction patterns, and visual rules across the platform, supporting consistency as the product continued to evolve.

03 /
Complexity Shaped Around the User
Bark-AI supports different levels of expertise through a clear hierarchy of overview, explanation, and detail, allowing each user to access the complexity relevant to their role and task.
04 /
From Product to Market
The work extended across product strategy, user experience, visual design, and communication.
A consistent visual and interaction language connects the platform, supporting tools, brand identity, website, landing pages, and marketing materials — creating a coherent experience from the product itself to the way its value is communicated.
